Camping Paradis La Croix l’Abbé is located directly in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, in the upper part of the town.
How far is the campsite from the sea?
Camping Paradis La Croix l’Abbé is located 800 meters from the Baie de Somme. The port, town center and bay-side promenades are a 15-minute walk from the campsite.
Is the campsite accessible by motorhome?
The campsite does not accept motorhomes. We only rent mobile homes and do not have pitches for motorhomes, caravans or tents.
Is the campsite easy to reach by car?
Yes, the campsite is easily accessible by road. It is located close to the main roads leading to Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, with clear signs on the approach.
Is there free on-site parking?
Yes, parking is free. Each mobile home pitch has its own parking space. We also have a video-surveilled parking lot at the campsite entrance, accessible to holidaymakers and visitors.
Can I walk or cycle to the beach from the campsite?
Yes, you can reach the Baie de Somme on foot or by bike from the campsite. The center and bay of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme are about 15 minutes away on foot, and access is also easy by bike, thanks to the surrounding tracks and small roads.

The campsite is located in a quiet area of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature, while remaining close to the more lively areas of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme.
Are there any shops within walking distance of the campsite?
Yes, you can walk to a number of local shops (bakery, mini-market, newsagent) and, a few minutes away by car or bike, to a wider choice of stores and services.

Camping La Croix l’Abbé offers fully-equipped mobile homes. We offer 4 categories of mobile homes (PMR, Confort, Confort + and Premium).
Does the campsite have a swimming pool or water park?
Yes, we have an indoor heated swimming pool (open from April1 ) and a paddling pool/water playground for younger guests.
Is the campsite suitable for families with children?
Yes, with playgrounds, entertainment, kids’ club and adapted swimming pool.
Is the campsite quiet in the evening and at night?
A set of internal rules ensures that night-time peace and quiet are respected, for a peaceful stay.
Does the campsite offer Wi-Fi?
Yes, La Croix l’Abbé campsite offers free Wi-Fi access for a few minutes a day or via the computer available at reception. For longer use or use on several devices, we offer Wi-Fi packages adapted to the number of devices you wish to connect.
Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Some mobile homes and shared facilities have been adapted to facilitate access and comfort for PRM holidaymakers.
Are mobile homes equipped with air conditioning?
No, mobile homes do not have air conditioning. However, fans can be provided on request to ensure your comfort in hot weather.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
No, bed linen and towels are not provided, but you can buy them directly on site if you wish.
Can I park my car next to my accommodation?
Yes, a parking space is provided on the pitch, right next to the mobile home.
Is there accommodation for groups or large families?
Yes, some mobile homes and accommodations can sleep up to 6 people, with several bedrooms and bathrooms, ideal for large families or stays with friends.
Is it possible to choose a location in advance?
Wherever possible, the campsite will try to accommodate your preferences (shady, close to the pool and entertainment, quiet…). We recommend that you specify this when booking. Allocation is subject to availability.
Are there any accommodations or pitches with shade?
Yes, all our mobile homes have a covered or semi-covered terrace, offering a shaded area in which to relax. Please ask when booking.
Are homes heated at the beginning or end of the season?
Yes, the mobile homes are equipped with heating, so you can stay comfortably in the early and late seasons when the evenings are cooler.

Are pets allowed at the campsite?
No, pets are not allowed on the campsite.
What shops and services are available on site or nearby?

Is there a restaurant or snack bar open in the evening?
Yes, we offer a restaurant as well as a snack bar.
Can we order bread and pastries in the morning?
Yes, a bread and pastry deposit service is available at reception. Reservations must be made the day before (before 6pm) for the following morning.
Does the campsite offer bike hire?
The campsite does not offer direct bike hire. However, we do have brochures and contacts of nearby rental agencies, and bikes can be left in the campsite parking lot during your stay.
Is there a launderette on site?
Yes, a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer is available to holidaymakers, with payment by card.
Is the site secured at night (guard, gate, surveillance)?
Yes, the campsite is secure. The site is under video surveillance and has a controlled barrier system at the entrance. In addition, a security guard makes nightly rounds during the high season to ensure the peace and safety of our guests.
Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?
Barbecues are permitted on the campsite. They are included in Premium mobile homes, but you can also rent one at reception (charcoal barbecue).
Do you offer baby services (cot, high chair, bathtub)?
Yes, you can rent a baby kit (cot, high chair, bathtub) at reception or when you book, subject to availability.

How do I book a camping holiday?
Reservations can be made online, by phone or e-mail. A deposit is required.
How much does it cost to stay at camping La Croix l'Abbé?

When is the campsite open?
Open from April1 to November1, with extra services in high season.
Can we come for a weekend or a short stay?
Yes, out of high season and sometimes even in summer, depending on availability.
Do you offer long-term stays or seasonal deals?
Yes, depending on the period: long-term packages, special offers.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Details are given at the time of booking. Cancellation insurance is often recommended.
Do I need to pay a deposit to reserve?
Yes, a deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The amount and payment terms are specified at the time of booking or in the general terms and conditions.
Can I pay in instalments?
Payment by instalments can be arranged: deposit on booking, then balance (payable in instalments if required) a few weeks before arrival.
What payment methods are accepted (credit cards, vacation vouchers, cash, bank transfers)?
The campsite accepts payment by credit card, cash, cheque, ANCV and ANCV connect vacation vouchers and bank transfer.
Can I arrive outside reception opening hours?
In the event of late arrival, it is often possible to make arrangements with reception (by sending an e-mail with the information needed to access the mobile home). It is important to inform the campsite in advance.
Are arrivals possible on any day of the week?
In low and mid-season, arrivals are often possible every day. In high season, some accommodations may offer special arrival times (e.g. Saturday or Sunday).
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Arrivals are from 4pm and departures before 10am. Late departures are subject to availability (extra charge).

Around the campsite, you’ll find plenty of activities to suit all tastes: walks in the Baie de Somme, guided tours of the town, nature excursions, sports activities, cycling and cultural discoveries in the region. At reception, we have brochures and plenty of ideas for outings to help you organize your days and make the most of your stay.
When is the best time to stay in the Baie de Somme?
May to September for pleasant weather and outdoor activities. Spring and autumn offer peace and quiet and attractive rates.
Are there bike paths near the campsite?
Yes, the La Croix l’Abbé campsite is close to a number of cycle paths that allow you to discover the Baie de Somme and the surrounding area in complete safety.
What activities can you do with children in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins?
In Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, families are spoilt for choice when it comes to keeping their children occupied: strolls along the bay, strolls along the port and through the old town, fun and educational visits to museums, excursions on the little tourist train, playgrounds and outdoor activities…
Are there any local markets or events in summer?
Yes, day and sometimes night markets are held regularly, as well as concerts, fireworks, festivals and street entertainment in high season.

From the campsite, you can explore the town: the Courtgain district with its colorful alleyways and old fishermen’s houses, climb up to the Calvaires des marins for an exceptional panoramic view of the bay and its sandbanks. What time does the pool open and close?
Open daily from 10am to 7pm in low season and 10am to 8pm in high season (times may vary).
Can I receive visitors during my stay?
Yes, visitors are allowed under certain conditions (declaration to reception, opening hours, no access to the swimming pool).
Are there any rules about noise or barbecues?
Yes, there are rules governing quiet hours, barbecues, vehicle traffic, etc. These are included in the welcome booklet.
Does the campsite offer a breakdown or assistance service?
The campsite staff can help with minor problems (information, professional contacts, advice). For emergencies, useful numbers are posted in front of reception and in the welcome booklet.

Does the campsite accept ANCV vacation vouchers?
We accept paper ANCV and ANCV connect vacation vouchers.
What accommodation is available for my dates?
Availability can be consulted in real time on our website, or on request by telephone or e-mail from reception.
Can I bring two vehicles?
Each pitch includes one vehicle only. A second vehicle may sometimes be accepted, but must be parked in the video-surveilled visitor parking lot at the campsite entrance.
What to do in case of rain around Saint-Valery-sur-Somme?
In case of rain, you can visit museums (Musée de la Baie de Somme, Picarvie, Galerie Maznel), take the Petit Train de la Baie de Somme, take a boat trip on the bay, play an escape-game, go to the cinema… or take advantage of the campsite facilities such as our indoor heated swimming pool, arcade, fitness area or take part in the entertainment.
What documents do I need to present on arrival?
You will need to show proof of identity, booking confirmation, a means of payment for the balance, and your credit card for the deposit (bank imprint).

Our campsite is open continuously from April1 to November1.
Parking & Mobility
Is there a charging station for electric vehicles?
The campsite does not have charging points for electric vehicles on site.
However, you can find them nearby, notably in the town center parking lots or in the parking lots of nearby businesses. Please ask at reception for more information, and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
Is the campsite accessible by public transport?
Yes, the campsite is accessible by public transport from the main stations and surrounding towns. From the station, it may be necessary to walk or take a cab to reach the campsite. A free shuttle bus runs through Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, stopping in front of reception and serving the town center, the port and the medieval old town. For details of times and routes, please ask at reception.
Is it possible to rent a car nearby?
